Product Description
Main applications in oil drilling
1. Flooding inhibitor: PAC can significantly reduce the fluid loss of water-based drilling fluids, form a thin and dense filter cake, effectively reduce the filtration of drilling fluids into the formation, and is particularly suitable for freshwater, seawater, and saturated brine drilling fluids.
2. Thickening agent and rheology regulator: Increase the viscosity of the drilling fluid, improve its rheological properties, enhance sand-carrying capacity, prevent sand settling, and ensure wellbore cleanliness.
3. Shale hydration inhibitor: Through adsorption and encapsulation, inhibit shale expansion and dispersion, stabilize the wellbore, and reduce risks such as well collapse and stuck pipe.
4. Suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments: The aqueous solution of PAC has stable performance below 80°C, can withstand up to nearly 150°C high temperature and maintain viscosity for approximately 48 hours, suitable for deep and ultra-deep well operations.
5. Strong anti-salt paste pollution ability: In high-salt (such as NaCl, KCl) or high-calcium environments, 6. PAC performs better than traditional carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), suitable for drilling in salt paste layers.
